 Wheels

Rotary heat exchanger as built by Heatex (1) allows for high efficiencies both sensible and latent and provides a fast return on investment. The airflows can be oriented side by side or top/bottom and the complete exchanger can be put in a vertical as well as in a horizontal position. Wheels avaialble from small to large applications. Selections with performance are available upon request. Air leakage between wheel and casing is minimized by a brush sealant. For even better wear resistance and tightness, a special polymer sealing solution is available as option. The unit is available with a purge sector to minimize the cross contamination of exhaust air into the fresh air.

 
 Plate Frame Heatexchangers

Plate frame heatexchangers as built by Heatex (1) are available as standard with Aluminum and aluminum with epoxy coating. Plate frame heatexchangers offer low to no maintenance with similar efficiencies as other technologies. Special coatings are available and leakage rates are very low compared to most technologies.

 Heat Pipe

Heat Pipes as built by Heat Pipe Technology (2) offer a low to no maintenance option for heat transfer via a refrigerant loop. Traditional heat pipe normally transfers heat in one direction during the heating season and the opposite direction during the cooling season, they are equipped with a tilting mechanism. Heat pipes as built by Heat Pipe Technology (2) moves fluid in a continuous one directional flow through individual three dimensional circuits. This avoids the need for a tilting mechanism.

 Evaporative Cooling

Evaporative cooling modules can be factory installed upstream of the exhaust air heat recovery media. The evaporative cooling module does not come in direct contact with the recovery media thus not deteriorating the recovery media. This allows for far greater efficiencies as compared to the same recovery media without the pre evaporative cooling module.

Unitech specializes in designing and building custom commercial Evaporative cooling modules. Unitech standard product is built with Munters (3) media. Unitech designs and builds a complete system including re-circulation pumps, washdown systems and sumps with drains. The Evaporative section sump and casing is built of stainless steel construction and copper piping.
